Shell AdBlue® is a high-purity urea solution used in diesel vehicles equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. It is not a fuel additive but a consumable fluid stored in a separate tank and injected into the exhaust stream.
